HOW OUR MOST POPULAR CLASS WORKS!

We are best known for our POWER classes! 

Power Boxing and Power Kickboxing are our two most popular classes because they are amazing for all levels and extremely effective if you are looking for endurance and weight-loss results. 

LET’S BREAK IT DOWN.

1. iNTRO & WARM-UP

 INTRO 

  • When you come in for your first class we will first introduce you to our team, give you a tour of the facility, help you find the locker room, and get you ready for a great workout.

  • We will wrap your hands and give you gloves for your POWER class and go over the fundamental punches and/or kicks to prepare you for your bag-work and shadow-boxing .

  • Once you have them down, we will walk to you over to the class and introduce you to your coach. Then the fun will begin!

WARM-UP 

The 15-minute warm-up will consist of dynamic stretching, shadow-boxing, and exercises that will get your heart-rate up in no time! Expect lots of fast-pace, full body movements.

2. COMBINATIONS ON THE BAG

Once your heart rate starts to rise that’s when we move you to the bag! Gloves go on, and you will put all of the fundamental punches and kicks you learned in your intro to use.

  • For 30-minutes your coach will call out different combinations and timing to challenge your coordination, speed, and POWER.

  • While instructing the punches and kicks, they will also call out different fitness exercises to really get the body burning! Expect some burpees, we’re sorry in advance!

The most important part is to go at your own pace and always ask for help if you are unsure of your form. Your coach is always there to guide you!

3. CORE TARGETING AB CIRCUIT

Now for the grand finale, ABS! We round out the class and take it down to the mats for a 10-minute ab circuit to finish.

  • A strong core is crucial for combat sports, so we like to make sure we hit it hard at the end. Everything from planks, crunches, leg-lifts, and more!
