What to Expect in Your Classes
Power Kickboxing classes focus on bringing an awesome cardio workout with the basic fundamentals of kickboxing. Move into our Muay Thai program to learn how to take kickboxing to the next level. Our Muay Thai program has beginner to advanced level classes. It’s great for exercise, women’s self defense, and those who want to train at performance level.

Advance from Kickboxing to Muay Thai
TBC has created a program with your progression in mind. Begin with the Power Kickboxing class to get your heart rate and love for kickboxing up along with nailing the basics. Graduate into our beginner Muay Thai class that covers all the basic movements, drills, footwork, and striking skills. Intermediate classes dive deeper into the sport of Muay Thai to prepare you for advanced level classes and sparring. Intermediate and advanced classes require protective gear in order to participate. Our Kickboxing Instructors
We don’t simply say we have the best instructors and trainers in San Diego because we think it sounds good to say. We say it because it’s the truth. Our coaches and trainers are well-trained in the art of kickboxing and Muay Thai, many having trained in Thailand and fought professionally. All Muay Thai classes are group-style and personal 1-on-1 training for those looking to really find their inner fighter is available.
Q: I’ve never tried kickboxing before. Will I get hit?
A: We’re so excited that you’ve decided to try kickboxing! If you have never done kickboxing before, we recommend you start with a Power Kickboxing class. This is a no contact class, so you won’t get hit.
Q: I don’t have wraps or gloves.
A: For your first class, wraps and gloves are on us. After that, you can purchase gloves and wraps at the front desk.
Q: Will I learn actual kickboxing technique or is it just a cardio class?
A: You will learn the basic foundations of kickboxing while getting an awesome cardio workout. The more you continue in the program, the more technique you will learn.
Q: Do I need to be in shape to start?
A: You need wraps, gloves, water, and yourself to start! Everyone starts somewhere.
Q: Will I see results?
A: Your results are dependent upon you! Kickboxing is a great way to burn calories while building muscle for the most optimal results (mentally and physically).
Q: Are kickboxing classes more money?
A: All kickboxing and Muay Thai classes are included in your membership! If you would like to do one-on-one personal training, there is an additional fee.
